The Puerto Rico Brillante comprehensive plan will help improve the quality of life for everyone in Puerto Rico (PR), especially those who have struggled under extreme austerity measures, high costs of necessities like food and housing, and an unacceptable power grid.
Furthermore, if Puerto Ricans do not return to PR to participate in land ownership and building community, other people with no concern for the well-being of PR will continue to do it instead.

However, that is why the Puerto Rico Brillante plan is comprehensively designed with components to holistically address the economic needs of Puerto Rico, including components for jobs and housing.
The four proposed components of the Puerto Rico Brillante plan will drive economic growth and be a cost-effective use of public funds. The plan would effectively pay for itself in the long run by strengthening communities, stimulating economic activity in Puerto Rico, and preparing our nation for climate change. Climate change financing and other tools, such as green bonds, can also be utilized to fund components of the plan.
